Exploring our connection to Mother earth, the elements, the seasons and our own selves through nourishing practices for body and soul.
Women’s Yoga, Yoga Nidra, chanting, mudra, honouring the cycles of our own lives. Our yoga needs to reflect where we are at – we need to change what we do at different times and really nourish what body and mind are calling for.
A monthly session to support you, exactly where and how you are in this moment. Touching in with our essence, tuning in with the cycles we go through as a woman including menstrual, fertility, pre and post pregnancy and menopause. These practices are gorgeously soft, relaxing and healing, encouraging us to connect with our femininity, our soul and our earth, giving ourselves precious, restorative time-out.
Each session will be unique, responding to the group on the day, and will always include a session of Yoga Nidra – giving permission to ourselves for deep, restorative relaxation. And concluding with a touch of chanting accompanied by harmonium. (The July session is a dance and nidra session)

Peri Menopause and Menopause – Easing the Journey

Slowing it all down into a softer groove……..
This workshop shares the importance of slowing down to PAUSE, BREATHE and RE-EVALUATE. What you are experiencing is a natural part of being a woman. When we understand more fully the menopause journey, much resistance falls away…. and as a result, many of the ‘symptoms’ fall away too. This really is the most amazing time in a woman’s life if she works it well. It’s all about saying ‘yes’ to yourself, self-care and taking plenty of down time.
A few hours to sink into some nourishing, gentle yoga especially for the menopause transition, loads of info, sharing and support. You will learn some simple techniques to help with symptoms too. There will be an educational element to the workshop as well as a session of gorgeously relaxing Yoga Nidra to ease you into stillness and deep peaceful rest.
Nalini’s experience as a coach on menstrual and menopause wellbeing, and Women’s Wellness Yoga and Meditation teacher will guide you in an inspiring and informative afternoon. Her own experience with the menopause journey, and supporting other women through theirs brings inspiration and fun to the workshop. For all women, peri menopause, menopause or for any woman who is interested in knowing more about how to navigate the change when it arrives.

For anyone serious about meditation, this yearly retreat dives into the teachings of Paramhansa Yogaananda and is led by Nalini, Leon Deith and Darshan (from Ananda Assisi). A relaxing and inspiring weekend which includes morning and evening meditations, satsang, kirtan and sharing.
Held at Monkton Wyld Court – a gorgeous eco retreat centre in Dorset.
This is our second retreat and we are so looking forward to it. Last year’s was a great weekend of satsang, fun and laughter, along with some really inspirational moments including a fire ceremony and kirtan with harmonium.

We do too much and when we don’t take time to rest and restore, we diminish our energy, creativity and mind power. Exploring our connection to the earth, the elements, the seasons and our own selves through nourishing practices for body and soul.
The menstrual cycle is empowering when we learn how to work with it and understand it at a deeper level. This workshop teaches how to relate to our rhythms in a fascinating way – the seasons are embodied within us – tapping into them from a place of knowledge is a deeply healing act.
As we cycle through the month, we need different practices at different times. This workshop explores practices developed for women by women, to work in harmony with our cycle. There will be an educational element where you will learn some fascinating stuff about menstrual cycle awareness, and also info on which practices to avoid and which to embrace. Women’s bodies and rhythms need yoga and relaxation options that will nourish and revitalise, as well as reduce or eliminate some of the common symptoms that can leave you feeling off kilter, including PMT and menstrual pain.
